ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
COLLAPSE IN FIELD. Alexander Ross, a prominent Rangitikei resident, aged sixty-three, was found dead in the paddock of a farm at Hunterville. He had gone out to tend the animals, and failed to return. A search was made, and the body found. Deceased had not complained previously. He was in his younger days an athlete, a man of excellent build, formerly employed as a blacksmith. —Press Association.
