LABOR IN POWER
NEW GOVERNMENT FOR NORWAY. Press Association— By Telegraph—Copyright. OSLO, January 24. The King has invited the Laborites, the strongest party in the Storthing, to form a Cabinet. They have consented, and thus Norway’s first Labor Government is the result of the King’s invitation. The Prime Minister, however, will not be the Labor Leader, Mr Alfred Madsen, who is too deeply compromised with supporters of the Soviet, but Mr Christopher Hornesrud, a farmer and vice-chairman of the party. The new Government will contain no Communists, but only orthodox Laborites, and it will bo obliged to adhere to a moderate policy.
