WASHINGTON, January 24. • The navy has made a move against the Royal Dutch Shell Company through an effort to prevent the Honolulu Consolidated Oil Company from selling to the former the products from the Elk Hills oil reserve, which is again pnder navy control. Mr Wilbur has appointed a Navy rgoard to draft recommendations for legislation to prevent all snch sales of pil to foreign trade.

(Received January 26, at 1.30 a.m.) After a silence of three years, Milton Everhart, son-in-law of A. B. Fall (formerly Secretary of the Interior) admitted having transported to the latter 304,000 dollars in cash and Liberty Ronds, which were given to him by Sinclair for the lease of the Teapot Dome naval reserve in 1922. The explanation that time that Sinclair purchased a third interest in •Fall’s cattle ranches. • Everhart to-day appeared as a witness before the Senate _ Committee ■which is resuming the oil investigation.
