'(Received January 26, at 8.55 a.m.) ’ A buried treasure of gold, silver, and diamonds, estimated to be worth £12,000,000, is tiro fascinating objective of a band of explorers who will shortly set out for Bolivia. Dr 1 Edgar Sanders says that the Jesuits mined and exported gold and silver to Europe regulating up to 1767, then becoming aware that they were likely to be banished, continued up to 1778 secreting hoards in one place, believing that they would be allowed to return. Dr Sanders, says that he holds a document revealing the hiding place. Previous digging operations revealed p, silver crucifix and a parchment putting p curse upon anybody proceeding in a further search. The workmen declined to go on. Dr Sanders declared thai he is certain that he is on the fight track.
