NEW YORK, January 24. (Received January 25, at 11.20 a.m.) Chicago wheat: March, 130 1-8 cents per bushel; May, 130 7-8; July, 127. LONDON WOOL SALES. LONDON, January 24. (Received January 25, at 12.35 p.m.) At the wool sales 10,366 bales were sold, of which 6,809 were Australian and 1,042 New Zealand. There was a largo offering of merinos suitable for all sections, which met with good general competition at full rates. There was an average selection of cross-breds, and prices were firm. New Zealand: “Panikan,” 22td and 20d; “Hauini,” 26d and 23d; “ Waiau,” 22J-d and 20d. SOUTH AUSTRALIAN LOAN. LONDON, January 24. Come-backs to cross-breds were in keen request at prices in sellers’ favor. Greasy merino sold to 32Jd- “ CINTRA ” SUBDIVISION. John Reid and Sons, Ltd., at their rooms, submitted to auction the allotments comprising the above subdivision at Anderson’s Bay. There was a good attendance of the public, and' all the allotments were sold as follows:—Lot 1, £700; lot 2, £700; lot 3, £435; lot 5, £390; lot 6, £160; lot 7,.£160; lot 8, £l4O. Two allotments in Sunbury street, Anderson’s Bay, lot reaching the reserve, aro for sale privately. SALES ON ’CHANGE: THIS DAY.
