PRINCESS THEATRE

The Fullers’ Follies, now in their ninth week at the Princess Theatre, are sustaining-the brilliancy which was characteristic of their previous offerings. Their presentation this week ineludes ‘Maid of the South,’ a delightful musical comedy, one of the funniest of all the Follies’ productions yet staged. Described as a ‘ Southern Trifle with a Spanish Dressing,’ it is indeed a colorful romance, set in the mythical island of Sandego. where Spaniards and Scotchmen abound in riotous confusion. The revno is preceded by a programme of bright, up-to-date, and varied items, by which nil the members gain fresh laurels. TKc fnnmakers are given plenty of scope in the many diverting absurdities, and the singing and dancing throughout are of the usual high standard.
