SAMOAN DEPORTEES
REPLY TO PREMIER DEFERRED WILL CONSULT COUNSEL [Per United Press , Association.] AUCKLAND, January 24. Fur the reason that ho is not prepared to make a full statement until lie has consulted his legal adviser, the Hon. 0. F. Nelson, who arrived by the Tofna yesterday, stated to-day that ho was not ready to reply to tho reasons given by tho Prime Minister in Wellington tor tho deportation of himself and two other Samonn-Eiiropoans from the mandated territory.
“Jn respect of the deportation orders and the supposed trial botorc tho Administration,” said Mr Nelson, “ 1 have the records of all the proceedings with me, and, as counsel advises, these will be made available tor publication. 1 shall bo leaving Auckland on Monday for Wellington. Mr Smyth will accompany me to consult Sir John Finday, and further developments will depend upon our consultation nith him.”
