PROPOSAL OF COMPANY WASHINGTON’, January 11. The construction of six passenger slopes of .'15,000 tons each, costing £4,250,000, to cross the Atlantic in four clays is planned by the newly-or-ganised Transoceanic Corporation of the United States. This company is a subsidiary of the Brown Bovere Electrical Corporation, Its chairman, Mr Lawrence Wilder, snvs that the company is willing to furnish £10,000,0U0 if the United States Shipping Board will advance a loan of £18,000,000. The board is submitting the proposal to the Government,
