DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE. Business si ill continues quiet on the Exchange, no transactions being recorded this morning. Market, prices, however, remained quite firm, and in several instances an upward inclination was noticeable, notably in B" .k of New South Wales and Dalgety and Co. shares. Tho former stood at £44 3 ■ last month, but buyers are now offering £47 10s, no business resulting. The latter has shown a rise of about 15s during the same period. National Bank of New Zealands were scarce, no sellers quoting. There has been liltie change in the insurance section. All shares in the Loan and Mercantile . group were being inquired for, probably as a result of the good prices ruling for primary products. There was no change in the miscellaneous section. There were still buyers for most of the Government debentures and stocks, but without selling quotations. Quotations were as under;
