RUGBY, January 22,
Owing to the probability of further high tides in the Thames a special watch is being kept on the river at the points which suffered in the recent disaster. So far there has ben no repetition of the flooding, and the new concrete wall which was hastily built to fill the breach made in the brick structure at the foot of Lambeth bridge was completed yesterday. Exceptionally high tides some hours later revealed a margin of fully sft between the water level and the top of the new wall.
