ENGAGED TO 104 MEN
Kleherta Bellet, seventeen, a domestic servant employed at Arras, was recently arrested on many charges of theft from her employers. A note-bock found in her bag contained the names and addresses of 104 men to whom she asserted she had become engaged. Twenty-two of these belong to Arras, thirty-three to Dieppe, and five to Rouen, all of them being described as artists. The girl bought quantities of expensive clothing and drove about everywhere in taxicabs. The lavish manner in which she scattered money led to her arrest.
