The President reported, in regard to the forthcoming visit of Victorian players (twenty men and five ladies), that the itinerary was not yet definitely fixed, but the match at Dunedin would bo played on Wednesday, February 15. It was agreed to use Dunedin Club green for the game, and details for the entertainment of the visitors were talked over and arranged. Messrs Connor, Ledlie, tho president, and secretary were appointed a sub-committee to look after details. South Otago Centre wrote that Saturday. February 11, would suit their players for tho annua! match with Dunedin Centro. Caledonian green was chosen for this game. A letter was received from Mr E. S. Wilson, secretary of the Otago Cricket Association, asking the centre if it were possible to hold Elderly Bowlers’ Day on February 18, instead of February 11, playing tho matches arranged for tho 18th on Saturday, February 11. The cricket match between Otago and the Australian Eleven was fixed for February 17, 18, and 19, and naturally the Cricket Association was anxious to get as big a gate as possible.—lt was regretted that it was impossible to postpone the matches already arranged, but it was agreed to suggest to clubs that sections of two rinks instead of three might be mutually arranged, and thus allow howlers who so desired to visit, the cricket match. It was resolved to suggest February 23 ns the date for tho annual match with Canterbury, on Roslyn green. The proposed date for tho Southland match was February 29. Central Otago players are to bo asked to visit Dunedin. The President expressed, on behalf of all the members of the executive, the heartiest wishes for the enjoyment of Mr J. A. M'Kinnon (Otago Club’s delegate) on his proposed trip to the Old Country with the New Zealand bowlers. Mr M'Kinnon’s work on the executive had been greatly appreciated, and they felt sure that he would rpturn with new ideas which would make for the advancement of the game here. Mr Fastier handed Mr M'Kinnon a travelling set, to the accompaniment of “ For he’s a jolly good fellow.”—Mr M'Kinnon replied, stating his opinion that the team would prove a good advertisement for tho dominion. It was decided to write individually to winning members and the Caledonian Club congratulating them on the success attained by them at the recent tournament. Mr Fastier said that it was pleasing to see that rink play was coming once more into its own in the Dunedin district. Local players had consistently done well in pairs and singles, aud it was good to see the rinks coming into favor. All the members of the executive concurred with the idea of congratulating the Caledonian players, aud it was also agreed that Mr T. Ferguson tof Balmacewen Club) be complimented on his good showing in the singles competition. A vote of thanks, on the suggestion of Mr J. L.
