BILLETING SWIMMERS.
TO THE EDITOE. Sir.—l ask your indulgence to allow me space to make an appeal to the parents of swimmers and supporters of swimming. About the end of next week approximately thirty junior swimmers of both sexes will be arriving from various parts of New Zealand to compete at tho forthcoming New Zealand swimming championships. It is the obligation of 1 the Otago Swimming Centre to arrange for accommodation for these competitions, and as the time is getting short I desire to make a personal appeal to parents of club members and others who are in a, position to billet one or more children during championship week. At other centres, where tho New Zealand championships have been held, supporters have come freely to the assistance of the association, and I feel sure that enthusiasts will worthily uphold Dunedin’s reputation for hospitality. I shall be pleased to hear from anyone desiring to help in this direction.—l am, etc., John L. M'lnboe, President Otago Swimming Centre. 76 Vogel street (’phone 11-097).
