ORCHESTRAL SOCIETY
The fourth concert ol the 40th season will be held in His Majesty a Theatrs on Monday, November 28. . A perusal of the items selected will give patrons an indication of the merit of the programme. The orchestral numbers include the overtures ‘ Rienzi (Wagner), ‘ Barbier do Seville ’ (Rossini); . suite, ‘Scenes Pi Moresques ’ (Massenet); selection, ‘ Tales of Hoffman .Offenbach); ‘Polish dance), and a minuet for strings composed by Mr J. C. Easton; march, ‘ Torok Magyar (by request. The assisting vocalists for this concert are Miss Valda M‘Curdy and Mr W. Mitchell. A, feature also will be the well-known sextette, * What From Vengeance Yet Restrains Me (from Lucia di Lammcrmoor).
