LOCAL MATCHES POSTPONED
When the matches were due to start on Saturday heavy rain was falling, and the wickets werd soon practically under water. The steady downpour showed no sign of ceasing, with tho result that tiic matches had to he postponed. FOURTH GRADE. High School A v. Dunedin.—High School, first innings, 80 (Fowler 20, Thomson 10); Dunedin, first innings, 61. High School, second innings, 93 for four wickets, declared (Mansou 37, Fowler 26 not out, M'Lachlan 15); Dunedin, second innings, 83. High School won by 39 runs.
