GLAND GRAFTING
REMARKABLE REVELATIONS OPERATIONS ON FEMALES CHILDLESS WOM EN BEAR CHILDREN. Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, November 11. (Received November 12, at 9.40 a.m.) Dr Magian, a prominent gynaecologist, in a remarkable revelation states that for ten years past he has been performing gland transfers from ouo woman to another with such startling success that women previously childless have borne children, and enjoyed complete reinvigoration and corresponding benefit in appearance. The idea was conceived when he was studying Yoronoff’s work. He regarded it as repulsive that a living part of an animal should be introduced to function in a human being. He realised that there were frequent operations in which glands wore removed from women for various reasons, so why could not they be transferred to healthy young women lacking them? He has transferred glands to about 100 women with extraordinai’y success. The transfer must bo accomplished in 30 seconds. Speed is essential. Ihe gland giver does not suffer in the slightest. Dr Magian is convinced that it is a benefaction which should bo examined thoroughly by those qualified to give an opinion.
[Dr A. J. C. Magian is senior honorary surgeon to St. Margaret’s College for Women, Manchester. He is a Eellow of the Edinburgh Medico-Chirurgical Society, Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, Fellow of the London Medical Society, and lecturer and examiner to the St. John Ambulance Association.]
