ST. HILDA’S COLLEGE
ANNUAL SPORTS MEETING Fine weather prevailed for Iho annual athletic sports meeting of St. Hilda's Collegiate School at the Caledonian Grounds to-day. The track was in good order, but a fairly strong wind prevented any fast times being recorded. In the high jump championship for the Junior Cup Miss P. Mackio won" the even by clearing 4ft Sin—a surely wonderful performance if the height registered is correct. There was nothing outstanding in the other events held this morning. Tho following are this morning’s final results:— JUNIOR CUP. High Jump Championship.—P. Mackie 1, J. Riley 2, W. Birch 3. Height, 4ft Sin. Throwing the Pall.—J. Riley 1, D. Mackio 2, D. Barrof, 3. Distance, 101 ft. 160 Yards.—P. Marine 1, M. Birch 2, J. Burdekin 3. OTH ER EVENTS. High Jump (8 to 12).—M. Munforrt 1, Zi. Hudson 2, S. Fitdielt 3. Broad Jump.—l. Holloway 1, M. Holloway 2, J. North 3.
