A FINGER BLOWN OFF. Ted Wilson, of Lander, was the victim of a painful accident on Saturday, when, through the accidental discharge of a rifle, one of his fingers was blown off. —Clyde correspondent. A MAORI KILLED. David Kumara, a Native, aged eighteen, employed carting flax from tho Barbora run at Himitangl fell off the dray, the wheel of which passed over his body, causing instant death. —Foxton Press Association telegram. WATERSIDER INJURED. William Pickworth, a waterside worker, was knocked down by a motor car in High street this afternoon. Head injuries necessitated his removal to the hosptial. The injured man resides at No. 3 Albion place.
