RAILWAY MISHAPS
A DRIVER LOSES RANK [Tick United Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH. July 23. Tiie driver of the railway locomotive which collided with a crowded tramway trailer at the Colombo street crossing on the morning of June 7 has been reduced from the position of secondgrade driver to that of first-grade fireman. The driver and fireman of the locomotive which was derailed at Timarn have been exonerated from blame.
