PRINCESS THEATRE
The final performance of the revue offered by the George Wallace Company at the Princess Theatre this week will lie given to-night. Under the title of ‘The Sparklers,’ the piece swings merrily along, George Wallace, playing a part as a broken-down millionaire, surpasses all his previous offerings. As usual, the illimitable little comedian leads the fun, with a background of pretty girls, gaiety, •smart frocks, and sparkling dialogue. Ho keeps the audience in a prolonged roar of laughter with his ludicrous and original antics. Alnvio Nyman, who has become a popular favorite with Dunedin audiences, gives a good rendering of several bright songs, which include ‘Just Around the Corner’ and ‘Strut,’ Lclfcy Croydon is another dainty artist, who serves her part well. Marshall Crosby’s baritone voice is heard to advantage in ‘ 1 Wish 1 Had My Old Girl Back Again.’ Every other member of the merry band gives excellent assistance, while the Six Cutics are seen in several dainty dances.
