f VISIT TO LANCASHIRE WARM WELCOME. (British Official News.) Press Association—By Wireless—Copyright. RUGBY, July 22. King Fuad, of Egypt, concludes his visit to Lancashire to-day. Ho has been received with great cordiality everywhere, and at Manchester University yesterday, where he was welcomed, in an address read by one of a number of Egyptian students, ho displayed particular interest in tho work being done on research on issues affecting the technical problems of industry. Ho later visited the Manchester Royal Exchange, which is the largest in the world. Responding to the great welcome accorded him, ho said that cotton production was the principal source of the wealth of Egypt and of the prosperity of his people. W ith the co-operation of the Lancashire spinners and manufacturers his country would benefit materially, and both nations would mutually'gain.
