‘ Wireless,’ the subject set down for discussion at the meeting of tire Dunedin Meccano and Hobbies Club last evening bad to be unavoidably postponed, and in its place a demonstration of fret-working was given by a keen follower of tin's hobby. Starting with a piece of plain wood, the lecturer showed how each piece of the design was cut, at the same time giving ample evidence of the simplicity of this hobby. The meeting was' brought to a close with the playing of several recreational games. 1 “ Wheii he kissed you, why didn’t you scream?” “ Because he threatened me. He said if I did he would never kiss mo again.”
