In the House of Lords tlie Marquess of Salisbury informed Lord Braye that the Government’s proposals included the representation of spiritual peers in reduced numbers, but it did not include the representation of other denominations.
He assured Lord Denman that the Government’s propsals were by no means a dead letter.
