Lodge Lily of tlio Valley held its usual meeting iu the liall, North-east Valley, A.D. Bro. Hope presiding over a fair attendance. The proceedings were opened early lor the purpose of holding the annual social and dance, and after routine work had been finished, friends were admitted, some twenty-two couples occupying the floor. Bro. ilumago (.Linden) gave a musical entertainment, and was thanked. Supper was served by tbo lodge officcis. The adjourned meeting was held at a later date, A.D. Bro. Hope presiding over a good attendance. D.P. Bro. Walker and tbo officers of West Harbor Lodge paid an official visit, and received hi. hearty welcome. A enohre contest for the shield took place. West Harbor winning by cloven to six. A candidate sought admission and was received into the order. It was decided to take part in the Ross- Stewart competition. B.A.D. Bro. Walker and his officers journeyed to the West Harbor Lodge, Bavensbourno, for tho purpose of carrying out the business and conferimg degrees. Some six past officers presented their certificates and wore duly admitted. The A.D. of the lodge thanked the visitors tor their attendance. At a later date the Chapter officers visited the Pride of Mornington Lodge, took the chairs, and earned out the routine work. They also carried out a mock initiation, giving the members present an opportunity of observing the ceremony as_ decided by the Chapter. During an interval sup-: per was handed round, and pleasure expressed at the visit of the Royal Arch Chapter officers. The lodge set up a committee to consider the juvenile movement and report progress. Juvenile Lodge. Olive held its meeting in the George Street School Hall. A.Di Bro. Winter presiding over a good attendance. Members of the executive were present. Two candidates sought admission and were rcreived into the order. After routine business hud been transacted a shooting competition took place and was keenly contested. Some fourteen lads residing in the south end of the city were transi'erred to the Progress branch, South Dunedin. Next night the Chapter officers will entertain tlio lads.
