A message from Cordova (Alaska) states that while staging a. boat scene for a moving picture of the gold rush davs of thirty year, ago in a. canyon on" the Copper River, fifty miles from Cordova, three “stunt” actors were drowned and five had a narrow escape. All were employees of the Metro-Gold-wyn-Maycr Company.
