DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE. A sale of Bank of New Zealands wa# icportocl at oßs 9d at tins morning’* call. There was good inquiry in the banking section. Buyers of Bank of Now 1 South Wales eased back to £45, while sellers asked £ls 10s. There was still a seller of New Zealards at sbs 9d, but tho best buying quote was 58s. The paid issue was wanted at 2Cs, with no sellers. Commercials were offered at 29s 4d, hut there was no buyer over 295. The new issue weie wanted at 8s prem., and offered at 9s prem. Sellers of Unions asked £ls 13s, but still with no buying quote being received. Buyers of National Insurances still offered 755, with no seller under 80s. New Zealand Insurances were on offer at 39s 9d. Buyers, however, remained at 395. Standards were wanted at 595, with se lers a' Cls 3d. A buyer of Huddart, Parkers tpref.) still offered 20s 9d, but no selling quote was received. P. and 0. Deferred Stocks were wanted at £285, hut sellers advanced to £290 this morning. The'ordinary' issue of Westport-Stocktons was quoted this morning at Is 6d buyers, 2s sellers. The old and new issues of Dalgetys werp on offer at £l3 los and 70s (prem.) respectively, but without attracting a huver in either case. Buyers of Perpetual Trustees advanced _ their price this morning to 625, but without attracting sellers. Gear Meats had buyers at 34s 6d, hut no sellers responded. Buyers of Auckland Amusement Parks still offered Us, while sellers dropped back to 11s lOd. A buyer of Brown. Ewings ford.) found no seller, while the preference issue was wanted at 20s 6d, with no seller under 21s 3d. Buyers of Colonial Sugars offered as much as £52, but still with no selling quote. Sellers of Whitcomba and Tombs eased hack to 70s 9d, but were without buyers. New Zealand Breweries had a wide market, buyers offering 445. with sellers at 475. Sellers of Kawaraus dropped back o Is id this morning, with buyers still at Is. Waihis were wanted at 19s 6d, with sellers at 21s. Buyers predominated in the Government Bond section.
