OTAGO ASSOCIATION. A meeting of the Otago Lawn Tennis Association was held in the secretary s board room Jast night, Dr Moody presiding. The North Otago Sub-union wrote thanking the association for the hospitality extended to its team whilst m Dunedin. The Otago Cricket Association wrote appreciating the action of the association in postponing lawn tenuis matches for the Otago-Melbourne match. The Otago Harbor Board wrote stating that a request that the board should proceed with the filling in of Logan Park had ..been referred to the engineer to report. The North Otago Association advised that it was sending a team to meet Otago at the Bay courts on Saturday. It was resolved to write to the Anderson’s Bay Club thanking it for providing afternoon tea for visiting teams. G. M'Dougall, A. T. Jenson, A, E. M'Adani the Bay courts. Mr A. M'Milla'n suggested that some of the elder players mi girt arrange during the winter months to deliver lectures cn how tho game of lawn tennis should be played, and the younger members of tho various clubs invited to those lectures.
