CANTERBURY AND YORK CONVOCATIONS ARCHBISHOP’S COMMENDATION. Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, March 29. (Received March 30, at 9.35 a.m.) The Convocation of Canterbury and York, under the presidency of tho Archbishop of Canterbury, met at Church House, which was crowded, and discussed the House of Bishops’ proposals relating to the Prayer Book levision. A vote is expected to-morrow on a single resolution in favor of securing the National Assembly of the Church of England's approval of the Prayer Book measure.

The chairman said that the real meaning of their prolonged effort was to mould the final form of the book, which would ensure better worship of God. He believed that the Prayer Book, as now presented, secured the distinctive character of each group of Anglican churchmen and retained its power as a bond of unity. It represented tbi considered judgment and laborious work of the whole diocesan episcopate.
