WEDNESDAY, MARCH 30, (Before Mr J. R, Bartholomew, S.M.) ABDUCTION ALLEGED. Arthur Cyril Bond was charged that he took a girl aged seventeen years out of tho posession of, and against the will of, her father with intent to carnally know her. On the application of Senior-sergeant Quartermain accused was remanded to .appear at Clyde on April 5 on this and also on .a further charge of having, at Maknrora, received £sl 9s in terms requiring him to account for same to Ernest Cameron and Win.. Taylor, and tailing to do so The girl in the abduction case was charged with being an idle and disorderly person, having insufficient law-’ i’ul means of support. The senior sergeant asked for a remand to Clyde in her case also. Mr C. J. L. White (for Mr Irwin) asked that the matter be dealt with right away.
