THE PRIME MISTER
SERVICES AT IMPERIAL CONFERENCE The Prime Minister (Hon. J. G. Coates), who is making his first appearance in Dunedin since his return from the Imperial Conference, was warmly welcomed by tho mayor (Hr H. L. Tapley, C.M.G., M.P.) this morning. Air Tapley said it was recognised that the prestige of New Zealand had been enhanced by the fact of Air Coates’s presence at Home. Ho had represented the dominion in a very worthy manner, and when Air Coates returned to Dunedin they hoped to give further expression of their appreciation of his services. Tho Prime Alinister said it had been a privilege for him to have been present ’at the Imperial Conference, and it was gratifying to know that his services had been appremtedjn Dunedin.
