THE HASTINGS DISPUTE

AUCKLAND EMPLOYEES' DESISION [Ebr United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, November 19. A meeting of the Auckland freezing works employees discussed the Hastings dispute, and resolved to carry out any instructions issued by the Federation of Freezing Workers pr by the Alliance of Labor. MEETING AT PETONE WELLINGTON, November 19. A combined meeting of the employees of the Gear Meat Company and the Wellington Meat Export Company was held at Petone last_ night. A resolution was carried endorsing the action of the Hawke’s Bay men in the dispute by a substantial majority. Mr M'Leod (secretary of the Wellington District Freezing Workers’ Union) stated to-day that the freezing workers at Patea, Imlay, Castlecliff, Feilding, and Longburn had also endoised the attitude taken up.
