(Received November 10, at 1.15 p.m.) The ‘Jewish Chronicle,’commenting on the rejection of Jews from the MidSurrey Golf Club, says: “Wo see no reason for the heroic protests or fretful regret. It is not tiio first time that this has occurred in -golf clubs, which aro private concerns, whoso members aro entitled to determine, however senselessly, with whom they wish to associate. The exclusion of Jews is not against Judaism in a sense of antiSemitism, but rs the result of narrow, snobbish, social bias.”—Sydney ‘Sun’ Cable.
