WANTS WALLET BACK. LONDON, November 4. Tho ‘ Daily News ’ states that an Australian ox-soldier, who is visiting London, staying at a well-known Strand hotel, was awakened at 3 a.m. by the bedroom window opening. He saw a man rifling his pockets, and jumped out, but the thief slid down tho fire escape. , The “Digger ” is not worrying about the loss of his £ls, but appeals to the thief to return his wallet, which h© won for athletics while serving in France.
