DANGERS MAKE MERRY

Distinctly joyful and sparkling was the special Merrymakers’ dance at the Savoy last night. There was, of course, a large attendance, and this was further augmented by an “ aftOr-the-show ” visit front the four Otago finalists in the beauty contest, “ Miss Canterbury ” and her maid of honor arid members of the companies now appearing at His Majesty’s and Princess Theatres. Banks of beautiful flowers. Unique lighting effects, splendid music, and the customary first-class service made the environment perfect. Dancing was kept up until 12.30 a.m., aric everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. To-night the popular cabarei conditions will prevail, but there wih he no Saturday dance, as the Tudor Hall Is otherwise engaged.
