OUTDOOR SPORTS TO-MORROW
AMATEUR SPORTS MEETING. Tho amateur athletic sports meeting, postponed from October 9, will fake placo ou iho Caledonian Grounds, and promises to be a very successful meeting. Large entries have been received, with record entries in the ladies’ events. All branches of tho sport are being catered for—running, cycling, walking, hurdling, and jumping. There will bo three relay races—ono for the ladies (four competitors, each to run 100yds), footballers’ relay (four competitors, to run in football outfit 200yds each), and the open relay of one mile. Several
events ;iro on the programme for the bo.vs and girls of the primary schools, and these have been well pa tronised. A post entry event is the motor tyro rare for boys under fourteen. During the afternoon the St. Kilda Band will be in attendance.
