EXCESS OF WffIMHWfILS [Per Ukitbd Press Association.] WELLINGTON. October 22. The Post Office Savings Bank figures for the half-year ended September 30 show that the deposits wore £7,535,915, but the withdrawals were £267,701 in excess of that amount. For the same period in .1925 the deposits were £8,779.0M, and the withdrawals £283,981 in excess of that sum, so that the position shows a litlle improvement, although the withdrawals were £250,000 in excess of the deposits.
