NEW ZEALAND’S EASY WIN The New Zealand team, which heat Bradford North by 3S points to L, consisted of Dufty, Parker, Brisbane, Cole, Desmond, WTlson-Hall, Davidson, Henrv, Carroll, Wright, Mason, Devine,* and Thomas. The proceeds amounted to £275. _ During the early portion of the game Bradford dominated the scrums, heeling splendidly; but the three-quarters,. by bad passing, frequently gave openings to the New Zealanders, who, smartly profiting bv their opponents’ mistakes, scored freely. Parker, Mason, Dufty, Devine, and Davidson secured tries, but the goal-kicking was poor. Dufty failing on four occasions and Mason and Desmond once each. _ The New Zealand players were superior in the loose, where their opponents were unable to cope with their speed and trickiness. Bradford also tackled ineffectively. Lowry secured a try for Bradford, which Welling converted. The Bradford forwards proved more successful in the second half, and the backs handled the ball better, but the Now Zealanders’ splendid combination, swiftness, and strength enabled them to retain the upper hand. Brisbane, who was playing stand-off half, gave a brilliant exhibition, scoring three tries. Devine scored a, fourth, and Dufty kicked a goal. Cole, Davidson, and Mason were also prominent. Bradford enjoyed short periods of superiority, during which Rowlands and Woodruffo scored tries, which Welling converted. Welling also kicked a penalty goal.
