Majesty, in acknowledging the Imperial Conference’s resolution of greeting, said: “I will follow with interest and sympathy your discussions on the important questions, the settlement of which, I trust, will promote unity and the greatness of the Commonwealth of British Nations.” Sir Austen Chamberlain made a statement on the general situation regarding foreign affairs, after which, at the conference’s request, Lord Lloyd expounded the Egyptiain situation.
