Time, 4niin 35 2-Gsec. COURSING. NEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION. The Council of the National Coursing Association of New Zealand_ met last evening, Mr B. S. Irwin presiding. Mi Len Fowler, secretary of the Australasian Coursing Union, wrote stating that the Board of Control had allotted the Australasian Waterloo to New Zealand for 1927, and recommended that the event be held in the North Islam!. Applications for the control of the fixture were received from Dunedin, Patea, and Christchurch. The Christchurch Club supported the application with the sum of £IOO as added money to the Cup event. On a vote being taken Christchurch was appointed as the rendezvous. The president of the association (Mr B. S. Irwin) agreed to donate a silver cup valued 25gs. Mr A. Muir was appointed slipper. It was decided ,to communicate with Messrs Hughes (Christchurch). Freeney (Hamilton), and Irving , (Invercargill), and ask them, if appointed, would they be prepared to act as judge. The conditions for the Cup event were fixed as follows:—An unlimited'number of all ages at £5 ss, with Purse and Plate, the Christchurch Club to add £IOO to the Waterloo Cup: the suggested dates to be July 23, 29, ami 30.
