POLICE PROMOTIONS
[Pun United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, September 11. The following police promotions are announced;—Sergeant I). Scott (Wellington South) to take charge of the Taranaki street station; Sergeant H. Scott, promoted to senior sergeant, to fill the position of instructor at the police tiaining depot; Constable Clansen (Kaikohe), "promoted to sergeant and transferred to Wellington; Constable Henderson (Invercargill), promoted to sergeant to fill the position of district clerk, Invercargill; Detective Holmes (Palmerston North', promoted detective sergeant and transferred to WTsllington; Detective Bickerdiko (Christchurch) promoted to detective sergeant to replace Sergeant Connolly at Christchurch. The promotions take effect from October 1. Many police tranters ere also announced.
