WELLINGTON'S TOWN CLERK
A BELBCWIE APPCIIiTEH [Pan United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, September 10. Mr E. P. Norman, of Melbourne, has been appointed town dork of Wellington. Mr Norman is assistant engineer to tho Melbourne Harbor Trust, and has had a lengthy connection with civil engineering. At the Sydney University he graduated as bachelor of engineering with first class honors, taking tho mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering courses. He also gained tho B.Sc. in chemistry, physics, and mathematics. He has been an associate member of the Institute of Engineers since its inception, and also an associate member of the Institute of Civil Engineers. Ho has had experience of railways and tramways, and was on tho Queensland Harbor and Rivers Department engaged in design work in steely concrete, ete. He served on Gallipoli and in France, and since 1921 has been assistant engineer to the Melbourne Harbor Trust.
