TO-MORROW'S FOOTBALL

RUGBY OTAGO v. CANTERBURY. The representative match between Otago and Canterbury, which will bo played at Carikbrook, promises to provide one of the best games witnessed in Dunedin this season. Canterbury has sent down a very strong team, including A, Robilliard tan All Black w.ng three-quarter) and N. P. M'Gregor (another All Black, who is playing his first game in Dunedin). Harris, who is playing live-eighth, has also played for New Zealand as a full-back. Brody, the scrum half, is a New Zealand University representative, and A. M'Corraack has also.played for the All Blacks. Jt will therefore be seen that the visitors have some very fine players, so that a high-class exhibition should lie witnessed at Carishrook. As a curtain-raiser the junior representative match between Otago and Canterbury will be played, commencing at 1.30. This should also provide an interesting exhibition of Rugby. The Otago junior representatives gave a lino display last Saturday in their match against Eastern Districts, but will no doubt be up against a much stronger proposition to-morrow afternoon. and a close and interesting game should eventuate. The box plan is now open at The Bristol, and patrons are reminded that the box plan doses sharp at 11.15 a.in. Although Kaikorni have been beaten iu their three games they have played extremely well, ,showing a great improvement in nil field movements. Their aggressive first-half display last "Saturday was much commented upon, so City, which were only able to draw with Knitangata, will have no easy task. The latter team will he seen in action against Pacific, which were beaten by City by a small margin. Pacific, on the other band, beat Athletic by 3 to 5. Christian'Brothers and Athletic, which some weeks ago provided a delightful contest, will do battle on the Toko Domain Ground at Milton, this fixture of the competition being specially arranged for there in response to repeated requests from South Otago football enthusiasts. It is expected that there will be a largo attendance of residents and visitors from Balclutha, Kaitaugata, and surrounding districts. The usual fatalities will be available for pa Irons at the Caledonian Ground, where ladies and children arc admitted free.
