(Received August 12, at 8.50 a.m.) Sir Neville Howso (Minister of Health) tabled in the House of Representatives the report dealing with the teste of Dr Sraalpage’s serum, which stated that final reports of the Medical Committees investigating the matter were received only from Victoria and Queensland, the other States not having completed their inquiries, hut the Federal Government had decided to abandon all further tests, tho scrum having proved a failure. The Victorian report states that in no case has improvement resulted from tho treatment. Neither the scrum nor the extract proved of any value in tho treatment of the cases selected. The majority of the cast's treated arc worse, and five of tho seventeen died. The committee had not found that the treatment was of any valuo in the cases selected.

The Queensland committee found that further tests were not only unnecessary, but possibly injurious to the patients.
