VlldilG SHIP’S VOYAGE ACROSS THE ATLANTIC. Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright NEW YORK, August 10. A message from Boston states that the Viking ship Leif Erickson successfully completed a voyage across the North Atlantic from Bergen. Fortytwo feet in length, the vessel is built on the lines of Erickson’s tenth-cen-tury vessel, and it followed closely as possible the route taken by the explorer 900 years ago. Captain Gerhard Folgcro is in charge. He said that he and his crew of three men and a dog experienced no distress. Captain Folgero is eightytwo years old, and the three members of the crew average eighty years.— Reuter.
