BENEFIT CONCERT
A benefit concert in aid of the widow and family of Stanley Foote is being arranged by the Returned Soldiers* Choir, the Leech Lyric Club, and leading artists, and an interesting programme is promised. Assistance is being rendered by the Men’s and Ladies* Hockey Associatiqgis. Everything points to tho concert being most successful. Apart from the worthy object, a very attractive programme should be provided. It is hoped that His Majesty’s Theatre will be packed on Tuesday evening. The box plan will open at The Bristol on Friday, and tickets may be obtained at The Bristol, 0. Bogg, and Co.’s, Otago Sports Depot, J. Starr’s, tobacconist, or from members of the Hockey Association or the Returned Soldiers’ Choir.
