LORD STEVENSON. Press Association—.By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, June 10. The death is announced of Lord Stevenson of Holmbury.—A. and N .L, Cable. [Lord Stevenson was fifty-three years of ago. He was chairman of _ the Standing Committee of the British Empire Exhibition, and it was for tho work that he performed in this office that he was awarded a peerage. He was managing director of Messrs John Walker and Sons, distillers, Kilmarnock. During the war ho held various offices at the Ministry of Munitions, being knighted in 1917 for these services.
