Messrs Murray, Roberts, and Co., Ltd., to-diy received the following cable from London, dated 10th inst.:—“Sales have closed. .Compared with opening rates of present London sales, greasy, merino, best descriptions, market very firm; greasy merino, medium to good, market irregular, and shows no material change; greasy merino, inferior, declined 5 per cent.; scoured merino, medium to good, market shows no change; scoured merino, pieces, wool suitable for the Continent, advanced 5 per cent.; .crpss-bred greasy, fine, market shows no change; cross-bred greasy, medium and cross-bred greasy coarse, declined 7J per cent, to 10 per cent.; cross-bred scoured, -advanced o per cent.; cross-bred scoured slipo, market par to 5 per cent, advance; cross-bred scoured, lambs, declined 5 per cent. BUTTER AND CHEESE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., has received .the following, cablegram from its London bouse, under date 9th inst.: —Now Zealand'butter: Choicest, DCs. Cheese: White, 955; colored, ' 945. Market firm.’ RUPEE LOAN FOR INDIA. ’DELHI, June 9.
