An inquest was held into the death of Allred Henry Edwards, a fireman on the Tntanekai, who fell overboard at about Lot) a.m. on Alay 11, while the steamer was between Aitutaki and Palmerston island. The deceased was seen sitting on the rail when ho tell. The ship was slopped, and a search was made for an hour and n-half. Captain Bollons said that deceased was probably struck by the propeller.
