On Saturday the North-east \ alley Baptist School' held its annual picnic at Waitati, the parents and scholars being conveyed there by the 9.16 a.m. train. The weather conditions were excellent and the grounds (in close proximity to Leith House), kindly lent by Mrs A. Ansell, were made good use of by the children. The officers and teachers also thank Mr and Mrs Jarvis, of Leith House, for kindnesses shown, which helped the success of the party immensely. , Neighbor’s Little Girl: “When did you get hack, Mrs Smith?
