Bellowing a. separation from hi.s wife, Mr Ogle began negotiations for a reunion. In doing so ho drew np a set of “fourteen points,” which the- good wife must observe if she wanted to continue to bear the name of Oglo. Here arc the rules :—■ 1. The use of such salutations ns “ the little shrimp,” “ that boob,” “ the old fool,” etc., shall, bo used at no time in referring to me. J. I shall assume full guardianship over you from tho time wo reunite, granted that you will bo a true, loyal, respecting wife at all times. 5. Yon will be very careful of the way you treat your husband. Do not expect mo to do your housework. 8. Remember always that I can live just as well or oven better without yon, and that any hasty or rude acts or remarks or improper actions on your part will mean a permanent separation.

9. You will continue to work until wo have a small bank account and 1 deem it proper to ask you to stop. On Sundays you will turn over your pay from the previous week to me, and I will supply you from time to time with such money as 1. think sufficient for your expenses. 10. You shall at no time make any withdrawals from the bank without first obtaining my permission to do so. 11. Above“all, never lie to me. 12. You will at no time say anything improper or degrading of your husband. 13. When I desire to read or study you will use such time in gainful work, such as sewing, darning, or improving the appearance of our room; 14. Remember always that the least departure from the above or failure to do as 1 tell you to do from time to time will mean an immediate separation. If you cannot live according to the above say so.

After suitably digesting these rules Mrs Ogle promptly “said so ”■ in court.
